Established in 1981 by founder/principal Mr. Gyan Dev Hatuwal, SUN SHINE BOARDING HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL is as committed to its goal of achieving educational, excellence and producing competent and skill oriented manpower as it was at time of its inception. Our accomplishments in the past bear testimony to our conviction, and encourage us to continue indefatigably in our mission of working for the all-round development of our students’ personality and character to instill creativity in them. Provide them with the knowledge and skill required to pursue higher education in the field of their interests and infuses them with respect for the nation and fellow beings. We have conducted the higher secondary section (10+2) from the academic session 1999/2000 to provide quality education to students in commerce stream.
The school is located at Lumbini Road, 500 meters to the west of Barmelitole, Siddharthanagar, the gate-way to Lumbini, the holy birth-place of Lord Buddha, the apostle of Peace and non-violence. In an area sound for academic bearings, Sun Shine runs its classes in its own complex with spacious rooms, in the school premise of over 2.5 Bighas land.
